Chromium-6 Free Clear Plating In accordance with ROHS standards, you will notice that some of our valves and couplings are now being shipped to you with clear plating instead of the usual zinc yellow plating. Chromiun-6 or Hexavalent Chromium has been found to be a hazardous substance and therefore we can no longer supply the zinc yellow plated product. We will be 100% ROHS compliant by May of 2007.
